Expert Witness in GP Clinical Negligence
Dr Nigel Lord is an experienced GP and has worked for the NHS for over 25 years. He is Partner at a large Teaching Practice based in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Dr Nigel Lord has been providing independent and impartial medical opinion in GP Clinical Negligence cases since 2004, producing an average of 100 plus reports a year in this field. His work is split currently at two thirds Defendant - the MDU, the MDDUS, the MPS and NHS Resolution (formerly NHSLA) - against one third Claimant. He also provides Fitness to Practice opinion in GP cases for the General Medical Council. He takes referrals from all over the UK.
Dr Nigel Lord is experienced in the production of high quality medico-legal reports, in providing opinion at Case Conferences and has Court Experience.
As an active GP Partner in a large NHS GP Training Practice and as a former GP Trainer to future GPs, he is ideally placed to provide current and up to date opinion in GP Clinical Negligence cases.
